Understanding your cardiac treatment plan is as important as receiving care. At Cardiac Solutions , we believe that patient education is the foundation of achieving long-lasting health. We offer a variety of clinical programs to ensure that you have the information you need to live a healthy and productive life.

Implantable Device Clinic
Implantable devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators act as watchdogs to keep your heart functioning as it should. If you have one of these devices, regular checkups are needed to ensure both your health and the function of the device. The Cardiac Solutions Implantable Device Clinic provides these regular checks of your device. In addition, we offer remote monitoring options of your device so your physician can be alerted to any changes even if you are at home.

Anticoagulation Management Program
Warfarin, Jantoven, and Coumadin are common anticoagulants prescribed to patients who are at risk for developing blood clots. The effects of anticoagulants can vary over time even with consistent dosage, so regular blood tests and medication adjustments are needed. Certain foods or other medications can also affect your reaction to anticoagulants. Cardiac Solutions’ Anticoagulation Management Program offers you a one-on-one information session with one of our staff, an INR blood test, and the information you need to manage your medication and lifestyle.

Cholesterol Management Program
Managing cholesterol is an important part of many preventive and maintenance health programs. Cardiac Solutions’ Cholesterol Management Program explains the difference between “good” and “bad” cholesterol and how you can lower the levels of cholesterol that put your heart at risk. You will meet one-on-one with a registered nurse for cholesterol testing and education on how to make lifestyle or dietary changes to improve your cholesterol levels

Heart Failure Clinical Program
Our heart failure clinical program is designed to help patients learn and recognize the early signs and symptoms of heart failure. Featuring one-on-one sessions with registered nurses, the heart failure clinical program gives you the ability to take control of your heart health through our classes on dietary and fluid reductions, managing medications, as well as  onsite blood testing with immediate results. We offer heart failure educational classes at our Peoria location on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We also offer courses at our Sun City West location on Tuesday and Thursday and Friday’s.
